MISSION TRIP - WEDNESDAY

At 8:30am (surprisingly on time considering the trip is comprised of 9 women) two packed to the top vehicles pulled away from the church, with lots of hugs and well wishes from parents and friends, to begin their mission trip adventure.

The crew arrived safe and sound in Eagle Pass around 2pm and settling in to their new digs.

Hello from Eagle Pass!!! We arrived safely...we got a little nervous when Mrs. Dee Dee ran over the curb, but we were fine. The ride down was eventful.  Mrs. Dee Dee got a little too excited when she found out we had skittles and threw them EVERYWHERE!!  After we ate at the Cactus Steakhouse (we ate no steak) we walked across the border.  We went through the market at looked around, then we walked back and took pictures. We went the HEB and stocked up on groceries.  Then we came home (the rectory) and cooled down, prayed, then watched a movie. Eventually we fell asleep.
